Get a solid foundation in portrait drawing. Create a series of portraits to gain an understanding of human form, facial proportions and drawing faces from different angles.

Particular attention will be given to line, form, shading, cross-hatching, lighting, and composition. Emphasis will be placed on students finding their own artistic direction and style.
